Update gems to use Faraday v1.0.1

This commit updates all gems that need Faraday v1.x and updates to
Faraday v1.0.1:

We don't appear to have any custom `Faraday::Adapter` or uses of

libraries so that this gem no longer depends on a preview Gem release
dated over 3 years ago:

only needed for local development.
