Revert empty password submit failure fix in JH

What does this MR do and why?

#1875 (closed) is fixed on upstream (https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/merge_requests/99042), we should revert JH temporary fix !1023 (merged) and apply new function name call from upstream.
